Hi there, found this site tonight while doing some family history research. Think I may be distant cousin of Linda Robinson "howlinkids".
I Live in Aberdeen Scotland. Margaret Craig may have been my grandfathers sister. They lived at Rosemount Place in Aberdeen as children. Margaret had two brothers Leslie and Andrew.
Linda if this is your family would be good to hear from you.
Regards
Ricky

Hi Everyone
I am proud to have been born a FRASER. I am trying to trace my family history but seem to hit the proverbial wall when looking for the date and how, my Great Grandfather came to Australia.
His name is Peter Fraser - he was born on 25 December 1849 at Forres, Morayshire in Scotland.
Must have been a bit of a romantic as he married Catherine Mcdonald in Australia on 14 February 1879 at Floradale in Victoria.
Peter and Catherine had 9 children. As far as I know Catherine moved to Queensland and selected land for the children when her husband died in 1916.
Could any family or anyone who knows how Peter came to Australia please let me know.

Hi All, Am trying to find information on Jean Fraser/Frazer who married John Ainslie, around the Gargunnock , Stirlingshire area. Their son Alexander was born abt. 1805 in same area. Alexanders siblings were Anni, Janet(Jessie), Jean Elizabeth & Mary.Alexander came to Australia as a convict & Janet came out later. I believe John, my GGG Grandfather was a schoolteacher. Many thanks.

Hullo everyone. have started researching my roots having been born and raised in Adelaide with no knowledge beyond my grandfather - Duncan Fraser born Inverness 30-03-1862. His birth certificate shows his father as Hugh Fraser and mother as Annie (nee McDonald) m 1854 Inverness. They brought their family to Australia 1870s and returned to Scotland. Duncan had two sisters and a brother (unknown). Went to Bells school Inverness. He was a plod in Manchester 1880 - 1883 then came back to Adelaide and married Jane Elliott. I would like to learn more of our history.

I am at this time constructing my family tree. My mother had four cousins who I believe emigrated to Australia in the erarly 1900s. They are 1. Alexander Fraser born Embo, Dornoch, Sutherland, Scotland 13/9/1888, 2. Kenneth Fraser born Embo 1891 3. George Fraser born Embo 1896 - all three are children of Alexander and Barbara Fraser. 4. Annabella Thom (nee Fraser) born Embo 1900 and the daughter of Thomas and Jane Fraser of Embo. Can anyone assist me with information on these four Fraser relatives. Regards Kenneth Mackay born Embo 1939 but in Africa since 1961.

Hi Judy,
This is a test message to test a new feature that I just added.
A copy of this message should appear in your email inbox.
It should also show the email address that I entered, but without having to display it on the guestbook display. Then you can easily reply to any guestbook entries that need a reply.
Let me know if it works or not.
